I thought these flowers in my kitchen looked pretty in their pre-storm light. Much to my disappointment the storm amounted to nothing and the rest of the afternoon went back to being baking hot.

It’s weekend time again! I am going to spend mine breaking in new shoes + pretending/attempting? to be a textile designer. Not long ago my friend directed me to Spoonflower where you can very easily design and print your own fabric online. Up there with haircuts + going out for breakfast, textiles give me much delight + I would love to have a metre or two of my own ideas on thread.
On a whole other level, Volksfaden has the most tempting textile range I have come across online.
